October is Eventful!

October will forever be eventful in my life. My son's birthday is in the beginning of this month and my husband has his birthday towards the end. The leaves change colors and give a romantic feel as the sun's rays glisten and dance over the warmth of the colors making you truly forget that it will be cold. Just living in the moment. October has to be one of those precious months loaded in mystery. It is also the month my son and my family was dedicated to God.

I gather in my mind that it will be a difficult task. Manly because I still remember my life growing up. I was taken to different churches by family and friends and grew up Lutheran. I remember the blessed times when I would come home and my mother and I would read from the book of Proverbs and in the same heartbeat I can remember the days where she didn't feel much like herself and drowned herself in wrestling or Star Trek almost oblivious that I was there. I as many became in limbo of completely following Christ and not becoming of this world or immersing myself in it because it was safer. As I moved throughout this situation I know God never left. Through all the interesting situations I put myself in He was there protecting me from everything and at times myself.

I guess because I can think in this light can help me with the raising of my son.Of course we want our kids to be better than we were and do the things that we could never do.

Now, off to do some charting get my son's costume together, go grocery shopping and tend to the laundry. Have a great October!

Where does the Time go?

 I know where my time goes- into treating patients. I am loving this life of treating numerous and multiple patients. Maybe from the suppression of seeing accident and worker's comp patients.  That is really me treating- no Photostock/AI pictures! Side Note: This was created in February 2025. It was stopped and completed in April 2025.  With changes in the schedule, it has been difficult to maintain this blog. I am keeping current and will begin to have a schedule where I post once a month. Wish me luck!

Food, Air and Water Show and NAILS

Today has looks very similar to yesterday- work out, eat when you can, read, clean, computer searches for jobs along with ideas and concepts. This morning I went for a run and it looked like rain so I shortened the run and went a little faster just because I did not want to be like the old guy in the tale "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" and get struck by lightning. Hubby somewhat shocked me today because he asked about the Air and Water Show. I asked why and he thought it would be good for both of us to go either this year or next year. I have always hated the Air and Water Show because when I lived two blocks from the lakefront I could never nap or focus because of the noise of the planes. One thing about living in the city I do not like and that is all the noise pollution. I have pretty sensitive hearing so at times my hearing goes out for a day once it went out for three days and when I say goes out I mean it feels and sounds like someone put cotton in both my ears...
