Eclectic Lotus

Jonathan "reading" his indestructables book! Our son is currently 4 almost 5 months (19 weeks) and he is a jolly boy! He smiles, laughs, coo's and goes to just about anyone. Apparently this weekend he was a little handsy with the mom to be. He does have a problem with those little "claws" as we once in a while call him baby claws as he scratches my arms, daddy's neck but I never hear my mother-in-law complain about him scratching her. I am almost daily trying to remove those fingernails! Coming home to him from work has to be the best part of my day and the weekends I want to be home just cuddling with him! When we are home for the weekends we read to him and play with him. He seems to love peek a boo with daddy and mommy is pretty good at the story telling as he seems so enthralled with the voices and the pictures esp in the Dr. Seuss books I read. He used to have just "The Lorax" and now is the owner of that and "Green Eggs and Ham...

*note- while I enjoy telling you my spectacle of life there is one issue- tending to the baby. He is highly curious and when mama is away for a minute he wants to see what I am doing so this blog was started about two weeks ago. Annnnnnndddddd. . . Go!* While I spend my Saturday at home trying my best to wash a George Foreman grill that I am pretty sure I have destroyed. (Hey buddy, we got four good years out of you) I think about the baby shower that I am presently missing. I love baby showers! Even though I could not go to my own I still enjoy seeing the happy people and the mother. . .so full of hope! I then begin to think about how some cultures do NOTHING for the pregnant woman but after she drops that kid she is SHOWERED with love, gifts and people to come over and clean the house and cook meals. . . Now I will take that!!! We are just obsessed with parties with cake I am beginning to believe anytime you now have divorce parties. Now, I will tell you a secret. . . I like ma...

Soooo, I have been formulating some schedule for myself and my dear son. Will report later on everything. It has become quite the chore to get an almost four month old baby to sleep at night so my next posting should be a good one. Also, more on cloth diapers. . . should be an exciting one. * goes back to her snow day*
