Play Time With Bubs- Our delicate and delightful play time

Our son is currently 4 almost 5 months (19 weeks) and he is a jolly boy! He smiles, laughs, coo's and goes to just about anyone. Apparently this weekend he was a little handsy with the mom to be. He does have a problem with those little "claws" as we once in a while call him baby claws as he scratches my arms, daddy's neck but I never hear my mother-in-law complain about him scratching her. I am almost daily trying to remove those fingernails! Coming home to him from work has to be the best part of my day and the weekends I want to be home just cuddling with him!
When we are home for the weekends we read to him and play with him. He seems to love peek a boo with daddy and mommy is pretty good at the story telling as he seems so enthralled with the voices and the pictures esp in the Dr. Seuss books I read. He used to have just "The Lorax" and now is the owner of that and "Green Eggs and Ham" as well as "The Cat in the Hat". At night I read him, "Goodnight Moon" but in different ways as to still stimulate him. He also has a selection of books in Spanish.

Songs are also stimulating as he loves the songs, "Happy" by Pharell, "Jesus Loves the Little Children", "Father Abraham", "Jesus Loves Me"

He has toys- I try very hard to avoid buying so many toys but I want to give him the best education I can while his mind is so fresh.
Baby Einstein Blocks- He mainly eats them and looks at some of them
Taggies- I never knew what this was but with my bubs teething he LOVES his blanket and his mirror compliments of Taggies.
Indestructables- These books are spillproof, chewproof, tearproof, baby approved. (see above picture) Love it!!

There you go! My brief and to the top of list. And yes, we have Sophie the giraffe. We also have Kiki the elephant but she is not so popular with the bubs and she is wearing away. I should have known better when I bought her so please inspect your baby's toys well before buying.

Where does the Time go?

 I know where my time goes- into treating patients. I am loving this life of treating numerous and multiple patients. Maybe from the suppression of seeing accident and worker's comp patients.  That is really me treating- no Photostock/AI pictures! Side Note: This was created in February 2025. It was stopped and completed in April 2025.  With changes in the schedule, it has been difficult to maintain this blog. I am keeping current and will begin to have a schedule where I post once a month. Wish me luck!

Food, Air and Water Show and NAILS

Today has looks very similar to yesterday- work out, eat when you can, read, clean, computer searches for jobs along with ideas and concepts. This morning I went for a run and it looked like rain so I shortened the run and went a little faster just because I did not want to be like the old guy in the tale "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" and get struck by lightning. Hubby somewhat shocked me today because he asked about the Air and Water Show. I asked why and he thought it would be good for both of us to go either this year or next year. I have always hated the Air and Water Show because when I lived two blocks from the lakefront I could never nap or focus because of the noise of the planes. One thing about living in the city I do not like and that is all the noise pollution. I have pretty sensitive hearing so at times my hearing goes out for a day once it went out for three days and when I say goes out I mean it feels and sounds like someone put cotton in both my ears...
