Where do I begin?

I have been tinkering with this for a while so if this looks a little sketchy it is just me playing around with things. Well, I will introduce myself and my life. My name is D and I am 32 years old. I live in the three flat surrounded by my in-laws. It is pretty interesting and quite funny how it all happened!

I moved to Chicago from Milwaukee in 2005 with dreams to become a great writer and find my creative and inspirations ju-ju after my dad passed away. I was encouraged to move here from a teacher I was dating in Chicago.

Since being married things have been up and down but our marriage stays consistent- full of laughter and love. I have learned how to cook more authentic Mexican dishes (he is 1/4 Italian and 3/4 Mexican) more American dishes and Vegetarian dishes. I will try to display some recipes that I stole from pinterest, Native Foods cafe, magazines and other sources of my culinary madness.

So, yeah this is going to take a while to make this blog "pop" because I am eclectic as the title ensues and also my best friend when she thinks of a signature flower for me it is either an Orchid or a Lotus flower. I have another blog named Jade Orchid on xanga so this one will include the other flower- the lotus flower. Also, according to Wikipedia there are many uses for the Lotus plant from teas to stir-frys to spinning it into a materal to make robes:

So, to be eclectic is in a Lotus flowers nature- just as I am. Interesting how my best friend's mind works! Well, it is off to play with this thing and see what all I am able to do.

Where does the Time go?

 I know where my time goes- into treating patients. I am loving this life of treating numerous and multiple patients. Maybe from the suppression of seeing accident and worker's comp patients.  That is really me treating- no Photostock/AI pictures! Side Note: This was created in February 2025. It was stopped and completed in April 2025.  With changes in the schedule, it has been difficult to maintain this blog. I am keeping current and will begin to have a schedule where I post once a month. Wish me luck!

Food, Air and Water Show and NAILS

Today has looks very similar to yesterday- work out, eat when you can, read, clean, computer searches for jobs along with ideas and concepts. This morning I went for a run and it looked like rain so I shortened the run and went a little faster just because I did not want to be like the old guy in the tale "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" and get struck by lightning. Hubby somewhat shocked me today because he asked about the Air and Water Show. I asked why and he thought it would be good for both of us to go either this year or next year. I have always hated the Air and Water Show because when I lived two blocks from the lakefront I could never nap or focus because of the noise of the planes. One thing about living in the city I do not like and that is all the noise pollution. I have pretty sensitive hearing so at times my hearing goes out for a day once it went out for three days and when I say goes out I mean it feels and sounds like someone put cotton in both my ears...
